Apple is actively researching humanoid and non-humanoid robots as potential smart home devices, according to renowned supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. However, he cautions that these robotic innovations may take years to materialize—if they ever do.

Kuo revealed that Apple’s robotics development is still in the proof-of-concept phase, meaning mass production isn’t expected until at least 2028 or later—if Apple decides to proceed at all.
